NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety - Assessment Resit
The IG1 open book exam and IG2 project are the assessments for the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (2019 syllabus). Learners on the 2019 syllabus have their final assessment on 5th August 2026. After this date, any learner who has not achieved both units will be transferred to the 2025 syllabus. Any unit already achieved will carry over as an exemption.
The GIC1 open book exam and GIC2 project are the assessments for the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (2025 syllabus).
Both the IG1 and GIC1 open book exams are available within a 24‑hour window, allowing learners worldwide to complete the assessment. Please note that all times provided by IMPAC are based on the New Zealand time zone.

Learners must have studied the NEBOSH International General Certificate course with IMPAC or another NEBOSH learning partner.

NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals
IMPAC offers the NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma as a unique blended learning package combining online learning and distance learning. Our students have access to online content created by IMPAC including videos and activities as well as telephone and web support from our tutors.
The syllabus is divided into three units, each of which is assessed separately through an assignment or case study designed to test the candidate's ability to apply the knowledge. Only by passing all three units can the candidate be awarded the qualification.
The Units are:
- DI1: Know - workplace health and safety principles.
- DI2: Do - controlling workplace health issues.
- DI3: Do - controlling workplace safety issues.
