Course details
Duration: Candidates have the flexibility to achieve the qualification in a time frame ranging from 18 months to 5 years.
The syllabus is divided into three units, each of which is assessed separately through an assignment or case study designed to test the candidates ability to apply the knowledge. Only by passing all three units can the candidate be awarded the qualification.
The Units are:
- ID1: Know - workplace health and safety principles
- ID2: Do - controlling workplace health issues
- ID3: Do - controlling workplace safety issues
IMPAC offers the NEBOSH International Diploma as a unique blended learning package combining online learning and distance learning. Our students have access to online content created by IMPAC including videos and activities as well as telephone and web support from our tutors.
Curriculum
What you'll cover
Learners will need to have knowledge of health and safety equivalent to that provided by the NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC).
Learners must be proficient in their use of written English. NEBOSH recommends that learners undertaking this qualification should reach a minimum standard of English equivalent to an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 7.0 or higher.
