This course equips learners with the knowledge and skills to effectively perform the role of a Safety Observer in hazardous environments. Learners gain an understanding of how to identify situations requiring a Safety Observer, monitor safety during activities, and implement emergency response measures.
The course also provides a comprehensive understanding of hazardous environments and activities, the key responsibilities of a Safety Observer, and actions necessary to ensure a safe working environment.
This course has been designed for individuals who are required to act as Safety Observers in high-risk environments, such as:
- Fire-watch personnel.
- Workers involved in confined space operations.
