This course covers both the Permit Issuer and Permit Receiver courses.
It’s standard practice to control non-routine and hazardous work activities through a permit-to-work system. However, permit systems only function effectively when people are trained to use them.
This course explains the key requirements of the role of permit issuer and permit receiver. It’s an essential course for anyone who issues safe work permits in the workplace and it will also ensure that all workers and contractors who receive permits know how to correctly use the permit system and its associated procedures.
We’ll refer to your specific company permit systems and documentation as requested during the course.
Please note that Permit Issuer (US17590) and Permit Receiver (US 17588) are available individually as 1-day courses.
