Most organisations work regularly with other organisations in order to achieve their objectives. Working with multiple PCBUs creates risk which needs to be managed, for business and legal reasons. On day one of this course learners will explore the process of working with other PCBUs, from scoping the work, initial engagement through to implementation, review and improvement.

Organisations frequently develop and implement plans in order to achieve their objectives. Achieving organisational objectives will always involve understanding and managing risks to the health and safety of people. On day two of this course learners will explore the theory behind planning and identifying benefits and limitations . Learners will develop a clear understanding of how to develop health and safety objectives through engagement and participation with a team. and have the opportunity to develop, implement and review a health and safety plan for a team, using an in-class scenario. This day focuses in particular on contract-specific health and safety plans.
